The immense Patagonian silence is what you’ll remember; it’s like no place else. On Easter Island, walk in the footsteps of ancient people who have disappeared from the world. The enigmatic stone Moai they built stand along the sea, silent sentinels of a lost civilization.

                      ACCOMMODATIONS

Santiago, Ritz Carlton Hotel:  The Ritz-Carlton Santiago offers dazzling views of the Andes Mountains, and is located in the capital's most prestigious and refined neighborhood, Las Condes, near the financial district. Fine restaurants and the upscale boutiques of Avenida Isidora Goyenechea are just a short walk away.

The 205-room hotel is also centrally located to Chile's recreational activities: hiking through forests, lounging on the beach, scaling dormant volcanoes, skiing in the mountains or touring the many fine vineyards Chile has to offer. The Ritz-Carlton combines deluxe accommodations and superior facilities that reflect the warm hospitality, beauty, culture and history of this fascinating city.

The Ritz-Carlton Santiago also provides a spacious, well-appointed spa and fitness center with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Andes Mountains and the city, as well as four excellent restaurants, each highlighting a distinctive dining style, and lounges for relaxation and socializing.

Patagonia, Puerto Puyuhuapi Termas de Puyuhuapi:
The main building of this distinctive and stunning lodge houses the reception area, staffed by friendly, English speaking personnel; the living room with multiple seating areas of overstuffed couches and chairs facing the windows with their spectacular vistas across the lake, or the warm and welcoming fire place.

There is a small lounge with a well stocked bar, and a dining room, which features a choice of appetizers, main courses and desserts — all with a distinctive regional flavor.
Rooms are located in several separate buildings, most resembling Swiss chalets.

Rooms are well appointed, with plenty of closet space and drawers. Heating is provided by under-the-floor pipes, which is particularly nice in the bathrooms, making them toasty warm. Bathrooms are modern, with ample space for toiletries, plenty of hot water and big, fluffy towels.

The Termas de Puyuhuapi is a full fledged "spa" with Thalasso Therapy Facilities. There are also three outdoor thermal pools, one in a natural setting and two regular style pools, both fronting the bay, with temperatures varying depending on the amount of flow coming from the hotel springs, ranging from 90 to 104 degrees.

A scenic but short path takes you form the hotel to the pools. There is also a snack bar and dressing-restroom facilities close by.

Puerto Chacabuco, Loberias del Sur:  Situated on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean and facing a spectacular hanging glacier, the traditional Loberías del Sur Hotel is located in Puerto Chacabuco in Northern Patagonia. The perfect base for exploring glaciers and the other natural wonders that abound in this spectacular region, the hotel offers all the services, amenities and comforts to enhance your adventure.

Built in traditional style, Loberias del Sure offers 60 rooms warmly decorated and featuring private baths, cable TV, central heating and mini-bar. Hotel facilities include an excellent restaurant, featuring local fish and seafoods accompanied by renowned Chilean wines, a comfortable bar, gym, sauna and massage service, laundry service and business center.

Easter Island, Explora en Rapa Nui: Enjoy an outpost of luxury on one of the earth's most isolated spots at Explora en Rapa Nui. Run by Explora, well known for its beautiful lodges in Chile's Torres del Paine National Park and the Atacama Desert, Explora en Rapa Nui uses the same winning formula of adventure by day and pisco sours and plush down comforters by night.

The hotel is located on a hill in the Te Miro Oone sector, on 9.6 hectares of land that faces the sea. The hotel is situated in the southwestern zone of the island, 5.6 km from Hanga Roa – the only town on the island – acting as a base for exploring this attractive and mysterious island, home to a culture whose origins and evolution remain unexplained. Volcanic rock, native to the island and wood from the mainland are the principal materials used in the construction of the hotel.

There are 30 guestrooms that spread out from central areas that house reception, living areas, a bar, kitchen and services. Next to the common areas is the Casa de Baños Hare Vai, with a pool, massage salon and open-air Jacuzzis. There is also a restaurant offering South Pacific views and a restaurant featuring fresh-caught swordfish and tuna accompanied by excellent Chilean wine.
