Days 1 - 3, Thursday - Saturday - Depart for Bangkok,
Thailand
Depart from your home on Thursday.
Arrive in Bangkok and enjoy a picturesque ride along the
Thonburi Klongs in a long-tailed speed boat. Explore the
collection of Thai antiques on a private tour of the Prasart
Museum.
Days 4 - 7, Sunday - Wednesday - Kathmandu & Royal Chitwan
National Park, Nepal
While in Kathmandu, visit the glorious Buddhist stupas of
Swayambhunath and Bodnath. Explore the ancient city of Patan and
teeming Durbar Square.
On a sightseeing flight from Kathmandu (weather permitting),
marvel at views of Mt. Everest. At rustic Tiger Tops Lodge,

elephant’s back.
Day 8, Thursday - Varanasi
Explore Sarnath, the idyllic site of Buddha’s first sermon.
In the morning, take a boat ride on the sacred Ganges to watch
Hindus performing sunrise rituals. Discover Bharat Mata Temple,
where a massive map of the subcontinent pays homage to Mother
India.
Days 9 & 10, Friday & Saturday - New Delhi
Sample New Delhi’s history and art at an imposing Hindu
fortress, an exquisite Mughal tomb, and an ornate Islamic
mosque. Visit Mahatma Gandhi’s memorial, Raj Ghat, and enjoy a
rickshaw tour of fascinating Old Delhi.
Days 11 & 12, Sunday & Monday - Agra & Fatehpur Sikri
Fall under the spell of the spectacular Taj Mahal, its minarets
visible from every window of the Amarvilas Hotel. Discover the
fascinating and enigmatic remains of Shah Jahan’s doomed capital
city, Fatehpur Sikri.
Days 13 & 14, Tuesday & Wednesday - Jaipur
Ride through the rose-hued capital of Rajasthan to visit the
city’s many palaces and the Amber Fort. Immerse yourself in the
spellbinding history of the city at the edge of the Great Thar
Desert.
Days 15 & 16, Thursday & Friady - Udaipur
Set among the green hills surrounding Lake Pichola, Udaipur’s
siren song has attracted travelers for centuries. Cruise to the
Lake Palace and explore the city’s fabulous temples and verdant
gardens.
Days 17 - 19, Saturady - Monday - Mumbai (formerly Bombay)
Discover Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay), a cosmopolitan city
with a beautiful harbor. Visit the city’s highlights, including
the fabulous Hanging Gardens and scenic Elephanta Island.
