CELEBRATION OF ROSES - ROSE PARADE AND
ROSE BOWL ITINERARY:
Join us for our Celebration of Roses as we take part in a
tradition more than a century old, held annually amidst colorful
pageantry filled with flowers, music, sports, great events, and
great fun. Premier Event is the perfect way to begin the new
year.
Day 1 - Welcome to sunny California
Event begins: The Beverly Hilton at 6:00 pm. A transfer is
included from Los Angeles International Airport to The Beverly
Hilton in the heart of Beverly Hills. Join us tonight to kick
off your Rose Bowl parade tour with a cocktail reception in the
famous Beverly Hills Ballroom featuring an open bar, hors
d’oeuvres, and entertainment by strolling violinists, followed
by dinner.

Day 2 – Great art, Santa Monica & a holiday performance
Get set for some priceless experiences today as you take a
guided tour of the illustrious J. Paul Getty Museum at Los
Angeles' Getty Center, home to extraordinary collections of
paintings, photographs, sculpture and other works of art. Then
visit charming Santa Monica, exploring the Santa Monica Pier and
the Third Street Promenade. After a buffet dinner at your hotel,
attend a performance of The Glory of Christmas at the famous
Crystal Cathedral this evening.

Day 3 – Celebrate in style with flower-filled floats & more
See what goes into the making of the spectacular
bloom-covered floats of the Rose Parade® on an early morning,
behind-the-scenes visit to the Parade Float Construction Barn in
Pasadena today. Then your Rose Bowl parade tour takes you to
Hollywood to see sights such as Rodeo Drive, Sunset Boulevard
and Grauman's Chinese Theatre. Back at The Beverly Hilton
tonight, celebrate New Year's Eve at an exclusive dinner dance
for Tauck guests only! This private New Year’s gala features an
open-bar cocktail party, four-course dinner with wine, live
instrumental music for dancing, party favors and photos, and
champagne toasts to ring in the New Year in several different
time zones.

Day 4 – Experience the magic of the Rose Parade®
Tauck rolls out the red carpet at the 119th Rose Parade®,
which precedes the 94th Rose Bowl game, this morning as you are
chauffeured to Tauck's premier grandstand viewing site. Watch
the beautiful flower-filled floats parade before you and see the
nation's finest marching bands perform right before your eyes as
you experience one of the nation's most beloved annual events in
person on Tauck's ultimate Rose Bowl parade tour! If you’ve
chosen to purchase tickets for the 94th Rose Bowl Game, continue
on to the renowned Rose Bowl stadium. Alternatively, spend time
exploring at leisure or take a tour of Southern California's
spectacular coast. Tonight is also magical as you are treated to
a special dinner featuring tableside magicians!

Day 5 – Journey home
Event ends: Los Angeles International Airport. Bid Southern
California goodbye as your premier Rose Bowl parade tour
concludes. A transfer from The Beverly Hilton to Los Angeles
International Airport is included. Please allow a minimum of two
hours for flight check-in.

Granddaddy Of All Bowl Games!
Ever since the first Rose Bowl Game was played in Pasadena’s
Rose Bowl Stadium on January 1, 1923, the annual New Year’s
holiday game has represented the pinnacle of collegiate football
in the United States. An American institution, the Rose Bowl
Game – The Granddaddy of Them All ® – has sold out every year
since 1947, when the Tournament of Roses® began an exclusive
agreement with the Big Ten and the Pacific Coast conferences.

Tauck has specially reserved seats near the end zone for the
94th Rose Bowl Game at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on January 1,
2008. Cheer on the top teams from the PAC-10 and Big Ten
conferences in person! Tickets are limited and must be reserved
in advance; special Tauck transportation, a souvenir program,
and a deluxe “boxed” lunch are included in the cost of the
ticket.
