Tour begins: 6:30 PM, Hotel Captain Cook. A transfer from
Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to Hotel Captain

2. Anchorage / Fairbanks
Visit the Alaska Native Heritage Center, then take a short
flight to Fairbanks. See the Alaska pipeline; your hotel is
located along the banks of the Chena River. Meals BD
3. Fairbanks / Optional Barrow Excursion
Try your hand panning for gold on a visit to a gold mine.
Alternatively, take an optional round-trip jet excursion to the
Arctic community of Barrow (additional $490 per person – ask for
details at time of booking). Join us tonight for a salmon bake

4. Chena River / Denali National Park
A paddlewheel boat ride on the Chena River precedes a brief
Fairbanks sightseeing tour. Travel to Denali National Park for a

5. Explore Denali National Park
Discover the natural treasures of Denali, home to moose,
Dall sheep, and grizzly bears, on a full-day tour aboard a
specially-geared bus with narration by a park guide. Meals BD
6. Private Floatplane
A 3-hour adventure by floatplane takes you over the Chugach
Mountains to Prince William Sound and the spectacular glaciers

7. Alyeska Resort – Day at Leisure
Enjoy a day of leisure at your resort in Girdwood;
activities (at an additional charge) include whitewater rafting,
guided wildlife walks, fishing and optional wilderness

8. Rail Journey / Embark Cruise
Travel in a panoramic dome car aboard the great Alaska
Railroad to Seward, on the Kenai Peninsula, for an exclusive
boat cruise through Resurrection Bay. Board your ship before

• 9. Day at Sea – Cruise Hubbard Glacier
Today you’ll cruise along Hubbard Glacier, which is North
America’s longest tidewater glacier – glaciers that calve, or
break off into the sea, and form icebergs. Meals BLD
• 10. Spend The Day In Historic Sitka
Arrive in Sitka; visit small, wood-framed St. Michael’s
Cathedral, the Alaska Raptor Rehabilitation Center, and Sitka
National Historic Park, housing historic totem poles. Fishermen
may want to take advantage of a charter boat fishing excursion

• 11. Tracy Arm Fjord / Juneau
Cruise through beautiful Tracy Arm Fjord. Arrive in the city
of Juneau, where you’ll attend a private Tlingit presentation
before boarding a tramcar for an exhilarating ride to the top of

• 12. Skagway / Rafting / Rail Excursion
Tour colorful Skagway, then take a ferry to Haines. A
rafting adventure through the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve
provides a chance to view eagles in their natural habitat; take
a rail excursion on the narrow-gauge White Pass & Yukon Route.

Dock in Ketchikan this morning. Once the ancestral home of
the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian, the city boasts the world’s
largest totem-pole collection; see local totem carvers at work,

• 14. Inside Passage Cruising – Day at Sea
Spend the day cruising the Inside Passage. Join us for a

15. Disembark Vancouver / Fly Home
