FALLS ITINERARY:
1. Arrive Montreal
Tour begins: 6:30 PM, Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. Welcome
to Montreal, second largest French-speaking city in the world
after Paris. Join us tonight for a welcome reception and dinner
at your landmark hotel. Meals D
2. Sightsee Romantic Montreal
A morning sightseeing tour includes St. Joseph’s Oratory,
McGill University and Mont-Royal, and a visit to Notre Dame
Cathedral. Your afternoon and evening are free to explore
romantic Montreal as you wish. Meals BL
3. Montmorency Falls / Quebec
Leave Montreal and follow the shores of the mighty St.
Lawrence River to magnificent Montmorency Falls. Enjoy lunch
beside the 272-foot-high falls, and then continue on to the
Shrine of Ste. Anne de Beaupré and its famous basilica. Arrive
in historic Quebec City, sprawled atop sheer cliffs rising above
the St. Lawrence River. Celebrating its 400th anniversary in
2008, the city reflects the grace of another era with its
charming, cobbled streets. Meals BLD
4. Explore 400-year-old Quebec City
Take a sightseeing tour of Old Quebec; its ancient stone
houses, venerable churches, and open-air cafés evoke memories of
18th-century Europe. The rest of the day is yours to explore
Quebec as you please. Meals B
5. Travel through Quebec to Ottawa
Travel along Quebec’s eastern shores – a route used by early
French explorers and fur traders – to Canada’s capital city of
Ottawa, renowned for its magnificent boulevards, beautiful
gardens, and the regal architecture of its government buildings.

6. Discover Ottawa, Canada’s Capital
Sightseeing in Ottawa includes views of the Royal Canadian
Mint, National Research Center, City Hall, the residence of the
prime minister, and Rideau Hall, with an opportunity to visit
Parliament. In July and August, see the Changing of the Guard
(weather permitting). Spend the remainder of your day at
leisure, perhaps visiting some of Ottawa’s many galleries and

7. Cruise the Thousand Islands
Head south to the St. Lawrence River for lunch and a cruise
among the lovely Thousand Islands, home to quaint summer houses
and opulent mansions. Continue along the MacDonald-Cartier
Freeway to multi-cultural Toronto, Ontario’s largest city, with
its vibrant waterfront and rich cultural attractions, for a

8. Spend the Day in Exciting Toronto
Discover Toronto on a sightseeing tour offering a view of
downtown and residential areas, as well as the Parliament
Buildings and the University of Toronto. Visit one of the city’s
most visible icons, the CN Tower, the world’s tallest
freestanding structure. The afternoon and evening are free to

9. View Majestic Niagara Falls
Follow the Queen Elizabeth Way to Niagara Falls this
morning. View this natural wonder from high above as the water
plunges nearly 200 feet into a rocky gorge, and descend to the
churning waters of the Niagara River; don a hooded raincoat as
you board the Maid of the Mist for a breathtaking, up-close
encounter with the thundering falls. As you travel along Niagara
Gorge, pass such world-famous sights as Table Rock, the Floral
Clock, and the Whirlpool Rapids; visit lovely
Niagara-on-the-Lake for lunch. Please join us this evening for a
farewell cocktail reception and dinner. Meals BLD
10. Journey Home
Tour ends: Toronto, Ontario. Fly home anytime. Allow a
