DAY 3, Wednesday - Botanical Garden & Empire State Building
on Christmas Eve
Wake up on Christmas Eve morning and enjoy a visit to the New
York Botanical Garden, one of America's premier gardens. Founded
in 1896, the NYBG occupies 240 acres and offers a variety of
environments, from wetlands to pristine, never-harvested oak and
beech forest, with 200-year-old trees, which is all that remains
of the original forest that once blanketed all of New York City.
Inspired by London's Royal Botanic Gardens, NYBG is a National
Historic Landmark that is also a vibrant institution at the
forefront of environmental and conservation efforts. After a
delightful tour of the gardens, visit the Empire State Building,
Fifth Avenue's art deco behemoth skyscraper that is both the
city's tallest building and one of its most recognizable icons.
Illuminated by red, white, and green lights for the season, the
building sparkles with holiday spirit. From the observation
deck, view the Greatest City in the World in its spellbindingly

DAY 4, Thursday - Lower East Side & South Street Seaport

Jewish heritage and numerous prominent synagogues, the area has
more recently developed into a hip and vibrant cultural hub,
with exciting music venues and some of New York's best
restaurants. Following lunch at an authentic deli, head to the
South Street Seaport, featuring beautifully restored and
renovated commercial buildings from the 1800s. With an
unparalleled view of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Fulton Fish
Market, and an immediately obvious connection to New York's
early expansion, the South Street Seaport offers a glimpse back
into the era of the great sailing ships. After a day of

DAY 5, Friday - The Met & the Rockettes at Radio City Music
Hall
Today's sightseeing takes you first to the Metropolitan
Museum of Art, housing a permanent collection of over two
million works. The museum's structure itself is an imposing work
of art, one of the most distinctive examples of Beaux-Arts
architecture in America. In addition to an exceptional array of
priceless art from around the world, the Met also houses the
silverwork of Paul Revere and the powerfully emblematic painting
Washington Crossing the Delaware. Enjoy a guided tour of the
museum, where you will gain an in-depth perspective on some of
the world's most significant works of art through the ages.
After a New York style brunch, set off for Radio City Music Hall
