ITINERARY:
Day 1 - Hanoi
Check-in to your city-center, deluxe hotel. Departures prior
to April 12, 2008 will stay at the Melia Hotel. After April 12,
2008 will stay at Sofitel Plaza Hotel
Day 2 - Hanoi
Today’s city tour includes the impressive Ho Chi Minh
Mausoleum and the Temple of Literature, built in 1070 as a
shrine to Confucius. Meals B,L
Day 3 - Hanoi / Ha Long Bay
Travel to Ha Long Bay, filled with more than 3,000 limestone
peaks. Your day-and-a-half cruise aboard a traditional
Vietnamese junk transports you through this magical waterscape
of peaks, caves and coves. Enjoy dinner in the boat’s intimate
dining room and overnight onboard in air-conditioned cabins with

Day 4 - Ha Long Bay / Danang / Hoi An
After a morning of leisurely cruising, disembark and fly to
Danang. Drive to Hoi An, seeing China Beach and Marble Mountain
en route. Check in to your superior first-class resort, set on

Day 5 - Hoi An
Discover the town’s colorful maritime legacy on today’s
tour: ancient Chinese temples and stately homes built by the
wealthy traders of earlier times. Then visit a school and city
market before a cooking class at the Red Bridge Restaurant, a
charming restaurant right in the heart of the Old City. Meals

Day 6 - Hoi An / Hue
Travel to Hue for an overview tour of this ancient capital
city, founded in the 1700’s. Enjoy your overnight here in a
historic superior first-class colonial hotel built by the

Day 7 - Hue
Continue your exploration of this old imperial city,
including the Tomb of Emperor Minh Mang and Thien Mu Pagoda.
Enjoy a river boat excursion to the Y Thao Garden House and

Day 8 - Hue / Ho Chi Minh City
Fly to Ho Chi Minh City and check-in to your deluxe hotel in
the heart of the city. In-depth sightseeing showcases the many
architectural and historic highlights including the former
Presidential Palace, Cho Lon Market and Thien Hau Temple. Meals

Day 9 - Ho Chi Minh City / Cu Chi Tunnels Excursion
Begin the day with a Tai Chi lesson, and then tour the Cu Chi
Tunnels, the vast underground complex built by guerilla fighters
and used throughout the Vietnam War. Meet with a local farmer to
learn the ancient craft of making rice paper. Meals B,L
Day 10 - Ho Chi Minh City / Can Tho
Travel to Can Tho in the canal-laced Mekong Delta and
check-in to your superior first class colonial-style hotel on

Day 12 - Temples & Sites of Angkor
Explore one of the most significant archaeological sites in
the world, the vast jungle ruins of the Khmer Empire. Today
you’ll tour Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Empire, and
spectacular Angkor Wat. Then visit Phnom Bakheng to view the
sunset over Angkor. Meals B,L
Day 13 - Temples & Sites of Angkor
Tour the 11th century Chau Say Tevoda and the pristine Ta
Phrohm temple. Also visit Artisans d’Angkor, established to
teach traditional Khmer arts like stone and wood carving. Meals

Day 14 - Siem Reap
