BOTSWANA EXPLORER ITINERARY:
Day 1: Depart USA
Your Botswana adventure begins with an international flight
to London.
Day 2: En Route
Day 3: Arrive Johannesburg, South Africa
Arrive in Johannesburg, the Gold City, where you are met and
escorted to your elegant hotel. Rosebank Grace or Westcliff
Day 4: Johannesburg / Okavango Delta, Botswana
Fly to Maun and connect with your light aircraft flight to
the heart of the world’s largest inland delta. Settle into your
secluded camp amid splendid bird life, scenery and tranquility.

Day 5: Okavango Delta
Glide silently through the delta’s cool, clear channels in a
dugout mokoro canoe. In this wilderness area, game viewing is
scheduled according to the seasonal movement of wildlife. The
maze of waterways and wooded islands is home to crocodile,
hippo, elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, giraffe, wild dog, rare
antelope and about 400 bird species. Choice of Camps (B,L,D)
Day 6: Okavango Delta / Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Fly the short hop to Moremi Wildlife Reserve, the
centerpiece of the delta and a great location for spotting game.
The wildlife is as varied as the habitats – mopane woodlands and
forests, floodplains, and lagoons. Your private island camp is a
perfect base for walking and boat safaris, night game drives,
and other exciting activities. Choice of Camps (B,L,D)
Day 7: Moremi Wildlife Reserve
Spend an exhilarating day observing the wildlife of Moremi.
Lechwe, tsessebe and reedbuck thrive in the floodplain. The big
cats are well represented, and migrating elephant, buffalo,
zebra and wildebeest gather at water holes here during the dry
season. Choice of Camps (B,L,D )
Day 8: Moremi Wildlife Reserve / Chobe National Park Or
Linyanti Reserve
Fly to the legendary Chobe or nearby Linyanti, where animal
concentrations, especially elephant, are great. Indeed, this
area holds part of what is probably the largest surviving,
continuous elephant population in the world. Delight in game
viewing by vehicle, both day and night, on foot, by boat, or
from the veranda of your exclusive lodge or tent. Choice of

Day 9: Chobe National Park Or Linyanti Reserve
Follow wildlife as your safari takes you into the Savuti
marshlands, Linyanti swamps or Serondela plains and forests.
Ecological zones here support a high density of lion, leopard,
wild dog, cheetah and a yearly zebra migration. Choice of Camps

Day 10: Chobe National Park Or Linyanti Reserve / Livingstone
- Victoria Falls, Zambia
You spot the rising mist of Victoria Falls from more than 20
miles away as you fly to Livingstone, Zambia. Transfer to your
choice of getaways – luxury eco-resort, exclusive private game
reserve, or elegant tree lodge. Each is in a perfect setting,

Day 11: Livingstone & Victoria Falls
Today is yours to do as you please. You are at leisure to
savor a menu of exciting options: river adventures, search for
wildlife in the forest of Mosi-Oa-Tunya Park, fishing and
cultural tours – not to mention exploring the incomparable

Day 12: Livingstone / Johannesburg / Depart To USA
After breakfast, fly to Johannesburg and connect with your
homebound flight. (B)
Day 13: Arrive USA
Fly into London and board your flight home, arriving later
today.
