AMALFI COAST WALKING ITINERARY
Trip Length: 7 days/6 nights
Start/Finish: Naples/Naples
The Amalfi Coast is the darling cover girl of glossy travel
magazines for a reason. It provides magnificent views – of both
the Mediterranean and the jetsetters who play by its shores – in
seaside towns compact enough to be captured in a single frame
(though when we visit, we make sure to pack our wide-angle
lens).
Spend your days walking the Path of the Gods above Positano and
the rugged hillside trails around Ravello, strolling along stone
laneways in the stylish towns of the isle of Capri, or just
sipping a drink poolside in decidedly Italian luxury at the
Caruso and Hotel Quisisana. Trip Highlights:
- Hike quiet paths perched high on the mountainside while
soaking up the stunning views of the islands of Ischia and
Procida, and the famous Faraglioni rock formation
- Explore Villa Jovis, the summer residence of Emperor
Tiberius
- Enjoy a cooking demo in Ravello with a professor of the
history of Italian cuisine
- Tour Amalfi with charming and knowledgeable local guide,
Michelangelo

Accommodations:
Grand Hotel Quisisana, Capri
The Leading Hotels of the World
Opened by the Morgano family in 1868, the Hotel Quisisana
originally operated as a well-respected health centre. Perfectly
situated next to the famous Piazza Umberto, it is now a
beautiful luxury hotel and the place to stay in Capri.
Le Sirenuse, Positano
Overlooking the sea on the cliffs of Positano, Le Sirenuse was
rated the best hotel in the world in Condé Nast Traveler. Need
we say more? Well, yes. We should point out that we are the only
active travel company invited to stay, thanks to our friendship
with charming owner, Antonio Sersale. Over the years Antonio has
shared some of his favourite walks with us in the surrounding
hills. Best of all, every room faces the sea, offering wonderful
views of the mythical islands of the Sirens.
Hotel Caruso, Ravello
The Caruso sits high above the Mediterranean with
breathtaking views of the water and a famous belvedere. It is
the fabulous new addition to the Orient Express Hotel Group and
is quite simply majestic. From its heyday at the turn of the
century when it was very sought after as a residence (by the
likes of King Farouk and Toscanini) to the stunning property it
is today, guests continue to delight in the views, amenities and
service. Here azure dreams are sure to accompany your stay and
you will simply never want to leave.
