Day 1: USA or Canada / Lima, Peru
Arrive in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Miraflores Park

Day 2: Lima
Explore Lima with a private visit and dinner at Casa Aliaga.

Day 3: Lima / Cusco
Fly to Cusco and visit the nearby ruins. Sundowner cocktails
and spectacular city views are in store prior to dinner and a
presentation by Kike Pinto, a regional expert on ancient Andean

Day 4: Cusco / Sacred Valley / Cusco
Explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the market town
of Chincheros. Meet with a local Andean weaver before a
traditional Pachamanca barbecue and Peruvian Paso horse

Day 5: Cusco / Machu Picchu
Board the luxury Hiram Bingham train to Machu Picchu. After
a guided tour there is time to explore these amazing Inca ruins

Day 6: Machu Picchu / Cusco
Walk through Machu Picchu and explore the ruins without
crowds. This afternoon return to Cusco aboard the Hiram Bingham.

Day 7: Cusco
Design Your Day: Visit the ruins of Cusco, see life in the
Andes through the eyes of a renowned artist/photographer or
visit the artist colony of San Blas. Later, dine at Quinta

Day 8: Cusco / Lima / Quito, Ecuador
This morning, board a flight to Lima and then continue to
Quito. Dinner tonight is at the hotel. Swissôtel B D
Day 9: Quito
This morning's sightseeing begins with a visit to the
Equatorial monument. Return to Quito for a city tour and marvel
at the city's ornate churches, cathedrals and baroque

Day 10: Quito / the Galápagos
Fly to the Galápagos archipelago and board MV 'Eclipse'. MV

Days 11-14: The Galápagos
Weather, water and wildlife conditions affect actual
day-by-day itineraries, but visits are planned for the main
islands and their landmarks, such as Pinnacle Rock on Bartolomé
Island, Punta Espinosa on Fernandina Island, Gardner Bay and
Punta Suarez on Española, the volcanoes of Isabela Island and
the Charles Darwin Research Station on Santa Cruz Island.
'Eclipse' carries pangas (inflatable boats) that carry you to
island beaches where you wander among the Galápagos' unique
species that include sea lion, Sally Lightfoot crab, marine

Day 15: The Galápagos / Quito
Disembark and depart Baltra for your flight back to Quito.
