EASTER ISLAND EXTENSION ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Santiago/Easter Island
Cross 2,500 miles of Pacific to arrive at Easter Island. A
traditional floral collar reception welcomes you before the
transfer to your hotel. Hotel Otai
DAY 2: Easter Island
Stop at Rano Raraku volcano, where 95% of the moai, Easter
Island's iconic statues, were carved. Continue to Ahu Tongariki,
which holds a row of 15 moai. A bush lunch is served on the
beach of Anakena before continuing to agricultural Vaitea. Hotel

DAY 3: Easter Island
See stone walls in Ahu Vinapu and proceed vertically up the
Rano Kau volcano to Orongo, where cliffs are adorned with
petroglyphs of the "Bird Man" rituals. Hotel Otai B
DAY 4: Easter Island
Trek on horseback from Ahu Akivi to Maunga Terevaka volcano
for a panoramic view or hike to Ana te Pahu, a natural lava tube
cave. This afternoon is at leisure. Hotel Otai B L
DAY 5: Easter Island/Santiago
On arrival in Santiago continue with your travels. B
