DAY 1: USA or Canada / Hong Kong
Board your overnight fl ight to Hong Kong.

DAY 2: Hong Kong
Arrive in Hong Kong and transfer to your hotel. Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong

DAY 3: Hong Kong
Begin your day at the busy Sheung Wan Market. Then take a tram ride to Victoria Peak for spectacular views, and visit the floating fishing community in Aberdeen on a motorized sampan cruise. After a traditional dim sum lunch at the Aberdeen Marina Club, your afternoon is at leisure. Tonight, join your fellow travelers over cocktails and a welcome dinner. DAY 4: Hong Kong / Hanoi, Vietnam
Fly to Hanoi, capital and political heart of modern Vietnam. Here, afternoon sightseeing includes a rickshaw ride through the Old Quarter and an evening performance of a traditional water puppet show. Hotel Sofi tel Metropole B L D

DAY 5: Hanoi
Today’s sightseeing refl ects the cultural link between China and Vietnam. Visit Ho Chi
Minh’s house, the Temple of Literature, the One Pillared Pagoda, Quanh Tanh Temple

DAY 6: Hanoi / Ha Long Bay / Hanoi
Weather permitting, fly by helicopter to scenic Ha Long, the “Bay of the Descending
Dragon,” a beautiful region of emerald seas, lush forested islands, pristine beaches
and rugged limestone hills. A private cruise on peaceful Ha Long Bay journeys through
its scenic grottoes and islands. Weather permitting, return by helicopter to Hanoi.

DAY 7: Hanoi / Ho Chi Minh City
Fly this morning to the largest and most vibrant city in Vietnam, known to the world
as Saigon. This afternoon visit the 19thcentury Thien Hau Pagoda and Cholon’s
colorful Chinatown. End your day with a cruise on the Saigon River before returning

DAY 8: Ho Chi Minh City
Visit the tunnel network at Cu Chi, one of the most notorious battlefields of the Vietnam War. This afternoon’s Design Your Day options include a tour the Presidential
Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral or, a shopping expedition in Saigon
(accompanied by a personal shopper).  This evening join your fellow travelers for

DAY 9: Ho Chi Minh City / Siem Reap, Cambodia
Fly to Cambodia, arriving at your historic hotel in time for lunch. Afterwards, capture
your fi rst glimpse of the fabled Angkor complex and romantic Ta Prohm, followed

DAY 10: Siem Reap

DAY 11: Siem Reap / Bangkok / Yangon, Myanmar
This morning fl y to Myanmar’s capital city of Yangon and transfer to your hotel.  After lunch, spend the afternoon walking through Scott Market or Bogyoke Aung San Market for a glimpse of everyday local life. The Strand B L D

DAY 12: Yangon
Sightseeing today includes visits to the Botataung Pagoda, the Sule Pagoda, the Reclining Buddha, the Gems Museum and the National Museum. End the day with a
breathtaking view of Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset. The Strand B L D

DAY 13: Yangon / Bagan / Yangon
A very early morning flight brings you to Bagan, the 11th-century capital of the country and one of Asia’s most extraordinary travel experiences. Its fl at plain is dotted with the remains of 2,000 pagodas, temples and stupas. Visit the Nyaung Oo local market, the Shwezigon Pagoda and the Kubyaukgyi Temple in the little village of Wetkyi-In. After lunch, stops include the Htilominlo Temple and a local lacquerware workshop. Then travel by horse cart to Ananda Temple, built in 1090 AD and the best preserved temple in Bagan. DAY 14: Yangon / Chiang Mai, Thailand
Fly to Chiang Mai, visiting the impressive Wat Doi Suthep with its famous viharn (temple library), en route to your hotel. End the day at Chiang Mai’s famous Night Market — a kaleidoscope of merchant stalls, open-air entertainment and tempting

DAYS 15–16: Chiang Mai
Spend two days exploring the sights and sounds of Chiang Mai. DAY 17: Chiang Mai / Bangkok
