DAY 1: USA or Canada/Shanghai, China
Depart on an overnight flight to Shanghai.
DAY 2: Shanghai
After clearing arrival formalities, you are met and

DAY 3: Shanghai
Explore the historic Bund, and the winding alleyways of the
Old Town and Yu Gardens. After lunch, visit the Shanghai Museum
and Urban Planning Museum. Tonight, join fellow travellers for

DAY 4: Shanghai/Zhujajiao/Shanghai
This morning, travel to Zhujajiao, a fanshaped "water
village" with ancient stone bridges and buildings from the Ming
and Qing Dynasty. Returning to Shanghai, Design Your Day; travel
through the light show tunnel to Pu Dong and explore the Pearl
TV Tower, or go on a shopping expedition. End your day at a

DAY 5: Shanghai/Lijiang
This morning fly to picturesque Lijiang in China's
mountainous southwestern province. After lunch, take a walking

Today's explorations begin with a stroll through local Naxi
villages and end with a visit to Black Dragon Pool Park and the
Dongha Museum. This evening, attend a traditional Naxi dance and

Travel to breathtaking Tiger Leaping Gorge, with en route
stops at the first bend of the mighty Yangzi River and the

This afternoon, fly to Guilin and transfer to your hotel.

A private cruise this morning brings you to the rural
village of Yangshuo to walk through the local village and

DAY 10: Guilin/Xian
After exploring Tunnel Cave, fly to Xian. Visit the Yangling
Museum which features recent archeological discoveries from Han

After a morning visit to the mosque and Muslim quarter,
explore the site of the terra cotta warriors. This afternoon,

A full day of sightseeing in Beijing includes Tiananmen
Square and the Forbidden City. Later, cruise serene Lake Kunming

Explore the less-visited Mutianyu section of the Great Wall.
Walk around Temple of Heaven and also the Hongqiao Market. This
evening, join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner.
