DAYS 1-2: USA or Canada/Marseille, France
Board an overnight flight to Marseille, where your Guardian

DAY 3: Avignon
Walk with your local guide through the papal stronghold of
Avignon and visit the Clock Square and Palais des Papes, adorned
with 14th-century frescoes. The remainder of the day is at

DAY 4: Avignon/L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue/Gordes/Avignon
Wander through L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue's famous flea market,
crammed with antiques, food stalls and street musicians.
Continue to the 12th-century Abbaye de Senanque in Gordes. Hotel

DAY 5: Avignon/Aix-en-Provence/Vence (St-Paul-de-Vence)
Stop in Aix-en-Provence for sightseeing at leisure and lunch
before continuing to your hotel. Château Saint-Martin/Le Mas de

DAY 6: Vence (St-Paul-de-Vence)
Explore medieval St-Paul-de-Vence and its Fondation Maeght,
a small modern art museum set on a wooded clifftop. Then watch
an expert demonstrate the local bowling game, petanque. After
lunch at leisure, visit Matisse's Chapelle du Rosaire. Château

DAY 7: Vence (St-Paul-de-Vence)/Cannes/Antibes/Vence
(St-Paul-de-Vence) Enjoy a full day of sightseeing on the
Côte d'Azur, including stylish Cannes, picturesque Le Suquet and
Antibes, where you stop at Château Grimaldi, home of the Picasso

Explore Monte Carlo's extravagant Palais Princier and the
Oceanography Museum. Continue to cliffside Eze, with dramatic
coastal views, and stop in Beaulieu to see its Belle Epoque
