FRANCE FAMILY HOLIDAY ITINERARY:
DAY 1-2: USA or Canada/Paris, France
Depart on an overnight flight to Paris, where you are met
and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is at leisure
before meeting your fellow travellers for a welcome drink

DAY 3: Paris/Loire Valley
This morning go on a panoramic introductory coach tour of
the city including the Champs-Elysées, Place de la Concorde
and Place Vendôme. After lunch board the TGV high-speed
train for the Loire Valley and your idyllic château hotel,

DAY 4: Loire Valley
Explore some of the most spectacular castles of the Loire
Valley, including Château de Chenonceau, elegantly
stretching across the River Cher. In Amboise, visit Clos
Lucé where Leonardo da Vinci spent the last three years of
his life. See a display of scale models of some of his most
fascinating inventions. Return to the hotel, passing Château
Chambord, whose turreted roof is one of the architectural
splendors of France. Dine à la carte at the hotel this

DAY 5: Loire Valley/Saumur/Loire Valley
En route to Saumur, visit the Terrestrial Helix, a former
Troglodyte village that has been transformed into an array
of sculptures and carvings. There's free time to explore
Saumur on your own before a photo stop at the Château of
Ussé, whose white turrets and pointed roofs inspired the
story of Sleeping Beauty. Return to the hotel for an
afternoon at leisure to play tennis or relax by the pool.
You might even consider a hot air balloon ride for a
birds-eye view of the splendors of the Loire Valley. Château

DAY 6: Loire Valley/Paris/Versailles/Paris
Board a high-speed TGV train bound for Paris and continue to
explore Louis XIV's opulent Palace of Versailles. See the
dazzling Hall of Mirrors and sprawling fountained gardens.
Attend the Paris Story, a multimedia presentation that
highlights 2,000 years of Parisian history. InterContinental

DAY 7: Paris
This morning, explore the famous Louvre Museum and its
outstanding collection of artistic treasures, including
Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa. Afterward, climb the Eiffel
Tower for lunch with a view, then continue to the Cathedral
of Notre Dame. Tonight, conclude your Parisian holiday with
an elegant farewell dinner aboard a Bateaux-Mouches dinner

DAY 8: Paris/USA or Canada
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board your
homebound flight. B
