CORSICA EXTENSION ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Porto Vecchio
You are privately transferred to your hotel in Porto Vecchio.
The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Hotel Casadelmar
DAY 2: Porto Vecchio/Bonifacio/Porto Vecchio
Drive to the southern tip of Corsica to the citadel of
Bonifacio. In the Old Town visit the Sailors' Cemetery and the
church of Ste. Marie Majeure. Continue by boat for a panoramic
view of the coast, including the fascinating Sdragonato caves.

DAY 3: Porto Vecchio/L'Ospedale Forest/Zonza/Cucuruzzu/Sartène/Porto
Vecchio
Drive into the mountains that dominate the island to
experience the wild beauty: cooling forests, the famous maquis
scrub vegetation, lakes and waterfalls. Visit the Ospedale
Nature Reserve with its vast forest, glittering lake and
waterfall. Continue to the village of Zonza, set in the heart of
the Alta Rocca area. After lunch at leisure, explore the remains
of a Bronze Age fortified settlement in Cucuruzzu. Travel to
hillside Sartène and discover its pirate history. Walk along its
winding, narrow, cobbled streets lined with 16th-century
granite, stone houses before heading back to Porto Vecchio.
