INSIDERS' IRELAND ITINERARY:

DAYS 1–2: USA or Canada/Dublin, Ireland 
Depart on an overnight flight to Dublin and then transfer to your fififi ve-star hotel. Perhaps join an introductory walking tour later this afternoon. This evening, meet your fellow travellers for a welcome dinner. The Merrion D

DAY 3: Dublin
After some morning sightseeing and lunch, choose from your Design Your Day options:
a visit to a collection of art galleries, antiquing or a shopping tour with tea in a
favorite local café. The Merrion B L D

DAY 4: Dublin/Strokestown House/ Connemara
At Strokestown House, explore the fascinating Famine Museum and have
lunch in its former kitchen. Later, drive to your 13th-century castle hotel.

DAY 5: Westport House/Connemara
After a visit to Westport House and lunch, drive along the coastline, then inland to
Kylemore Abbey. This evening, dine in an Irish pub. Ashford Castle B L D

DAY 6: Galway/The Burren/Cliffs of Moher/Glin Castle
Travel through Galway, stopping at the spectacular cathedral. Pause for lunch in an
oyster cottage and continue along the Clare coastline to the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher and moon-like landscape of the Burren.  Tonight, dine as guests of the Knight of Glin at Glin Castle. Glin Castle B L D

DAY 7: Glin Castle/Gap of Dunloe/ Killarney/Kenmare
Experience the dramatic mountain pass of the Gap of Dunloe by pony and trap. After
lunch, continue south to watch a traditional sheep dog demonstration before arriving at your hotel for a private whiskey tasting and dinner. Sheen Falls Lodge B D

DAY 8: Kenmare/Scenic Kerry/Bantry Bay/Kenmare
Today, drive the Ring of Kerry to Bantry Bay for a short boat ride to Garnish Island.
After lunch, visit Bantry House. Tonight dine à la carte. Sheen Falls Lodge B L D

DAY 9: Kenmare/Blarney Castle/Rock of Cashel/Thomastown
Visit Blarney Castle, then lunch privately at Kilshannig House, ancestral home of
Diana, the late Princess of Wales. Continue to the ruins of the Rock of Cashel. Dinner
is à la carte. Mount Juliet Hotel B L D

DAY 10: Thomastown/Waterford/ Curraghmore/Thomastown
You may choose to visit Waterford’s famous crystal factory or book a tee time and golf at your hotel. Visit privately with the Marquis of Waterford at his home in Curraghmore. Mount Juliet Hotel B

DAY 11: Thomastown/The National Stud/ Dublin
Wander through Ireland’s famous National Stud before continuing to Dublin for a
private lunch at the 18th-century mansion home of porcelain collector Desiree Short.
Gather with your fellow travelers this evening for a farewell dinner. The Merrion B L D

DAY 12: Dublin/USA or Canada
Transfer to the airport to board your homebound flight.
