HUKA LODGE HIDEAWAY EXTENSION ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Taupo/Huka
Arrive in Taupo and transfer to the award-winning Huka
Lodge, where past guests have included HRH Queen Elizabeth II
and European royalty. Spend the afternoon at leisure surrounded
by magnificent natural New Zealand beauty. Huka Lodge D
DAY 2: Huka
The crystal clear waters of Lake Taupo are fed by mountain
streams and are home to some of the most sought-after rainbow
trout in the world. This morning enjoy a private three-hour
cruise on stunning Lake Taupo. View Maori rock carvings,
historical points of interest in Whakaipo Bay. On clear days,
the majestic volcanoes of Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro can
be seen at the southern end of the lake. The remainder of the
day is at leisure at Huka Lodge. Perhaps soak in the hot pools,
play tennis or petanque, or try a spot of fishing. Huka Lodge B

DAY 3: Huka/Taupo/Depart
Transfer overland to Taupo where you continue your travels
throughout New Zealand, Australia, or embark on your onward
