CHRISTCHURCH COUNTRYSIDE EXTENSION ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Arrive Christchurch
Depart this morning on a privately-guided, cycling tour
through Hagley Park and the Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a picnic
lunch in the city "more English than England" before
transferring back to your hotel.

DAY 2: Christchurch/Cass
Board the Tranz Alpine Express train, heading through the
Canterbury Plains towards Cass. This journey is one of the most
picturesque rail experiences in New Zealand. Disembark the train
at Cass where a Grasmere Lodge representative escorts you to

DAY 3: Cass
Enjoy a 4-wheel-drive adventure around the 43,000 acres of
High Country station, home to cattle, deer and fine-wool, merino

Travel across the picture postcard Canterbury Plains to the
