Our standards are the highest in the industry. A&K guides are impeccable hosts — experienced, well-educated, intelligent professionals who are also charming traveling companions. They specialize in a variety of subjects from archaeology, flora and wildlife to politics, geography and current affairs. And while other tour companies use guides who are as foreign to the region as the tourists they lead, A&K’s Tour Directors reside in and are passionate about the country in which they work. A&K’s Private Fleet
To guarantee the best service for our guests, A&K owns, operates and maintains a fleet of buses and four-wheel-drive safari cruisers in Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania, and in most areas of Southern Africa and Egypt. While other companies lease their vehicles from third parties, with no control over maintenance or passenger amenities, A&K constantly upgrades its vehicles to incorporate modern safety and design elements that emphasize customer comfort and the best sightlines while game viewing.

Private Transfers …Any Time
Unlike many of our competitors, A&K offers its guests private transfers whenever you choose to arrive or depart. This allows you the flexibility to arrive early or extend your stay beyond the dates or times of your group program. Most other tour operators offer to transfer you to and from the hotel from one specified group flight. But A&K gives you the comfort, luxury and freedom to plan your trip as you prefer. Any day, any time, day or night.

A More Personal Touch
With an average of just 12 to 15 travellers (sometimes even less) and a maximum of 24 on our Connoisseurs Series, A&K groups are small enough to facilitate personal contact among group members, and undivided attention from your Tour Director. These smaller numbers also result in access to quaint restaurants off the beaten track, and discerning hotels that refuse large groups. While other company’s travellers are herded through the streets of Cairo or the plains of Kenya in groups of as many as 40, A&K guests feel as if they are traveling with a small party of friends.
