DAY 1: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
You are met and transferred to your luxurious hotel. The
balance of the day is at leisure. Wedgewood Hotel
DAY 2: Vancouver/Salt Spring Island
Your Audi Q7 (yours to use for the duration of your journey)
is delivered to your hotel. Following a vehicle orientation, set
sail on the BC Ferries System for Salt Spring Island. Then drive
to the Hastings House Country Estate and settle in to your
deluxe suite on this lush 22-acre waterfront resort. Hastings

DAY 3: Salt Spring Island
You may choose to visit the island's renowned Saturday
market, featuring internationally acclaimed arts and crafts from
local artists. This afternoon, a private guide accompanies you
as you paddle your kayak in the Ganges Harbor to the beautiful
shell-covered Chocolate Beach on Third Sister Island. Be on the
lookout for seal, sea lion, porpoise, eagle and great blue

DAY 4: Salt Spring Island/Tofino, Vancouver Island
Travel by ferry and road to Tofino on Vancouver Island.
Along the way, enjoy the ancient rainforests and spectacular
scenery. There are many opportunities to view the wildlife as
well. Your day is entirely at your own pace as you make your way

DAY 5: Tofino
Spend the day exploring the pristine waters of Clayoquot
Sound for possible sightings of orca, gray and humpback whale;
sea lion; seal and porpoise. Travel by Zodiac to the north end
of Clayoquot Sound where you can relax and soak in the natural,
sulfur hot springs that overlook the ocean. Long Beach Lodge

DAY 6: Tofino/Malahat
Drive across Vancouver Island via scenic Malahat Drive, a
beautiful roadway that runs through a rugged region of heavy
forest and steep cliffs. Arrive at the Aerie Resort overlooking
Spectacle Lake. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the
resort's amenities. Curl up with a good book in front of the
fire, use the sauna or outdoor hot tub, or rejuvenate at the
Wellness and Beauty Center. Aerie Resort B
DAY 7: Malahat/Victoria/Malahat
You are met by your private driver-guide this morning for a
visit to the renowned Butchart Gardens, a 50-acre horticultural
showplace. Then explore Victoria's Antique Row, the Parliament
Building and historic mansions before stopping for high tea at
the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Later you may prefer to take a drive

DAY 8: Malahat/Vancouver
After breakfast, depart on a final scenic ferry sailing.
Travel from Victoria to Vancouver, and this afternoon explore
the city on your own, perhaps stopping in Chinatown, Stanley

DAY 9: Vancouver
Leave your Audi Q7 at the Wedgewood Hotel and transfer to
the airport to board your homebound flight. B
