MAJESTIC CANYONS RIVER RAFTING ITINERARY:
DAY 1: Moab, Utah
Meet your guides and fellow travelers today at your downtown
Moab hotel. This evening attend a pre-trip briefing that
includes instructions for packing your "dry bags." Gonzo Inn
DAY 2: Moab/Green River
Fly over the majestic canyon country and land on a mesa.
Descend to the Green River for a safety briefing. Once on the
river, serene waters allow you to practice your rafting skills
in preparation for the exciting whitewater to come. A&K River

DAYS 3-5: Green River
As you float deeper into the canyons, gravity speeds the
river flow, and the rapids increase each day in difficulty and
size. It is an exciting roller coaster of a trip, as whitewater
alternates with calm stretches offering time to dry off, relax
and enjoy the landscape. There is plenty of time to swim, make
sand castles and learn about the local ecology on hikes. Get a
taste of the old "Wild West" on a visit to Rock Creek Ranch, an
abandoned homestead where famous outlaws Butch Cassidy and the
Sundance Kid took refuge in the late 1890s. A&K River Camp B L D
DAY 6: Green River/Moab
Excitement is in the air as you run some big rapids today -
including Coal Creek and Rattlesnake. After an adventurous and
unforgettable morning, pull off the river and return to Moab. B

RAPIDS > CLASS II-III
From mellow rapids that merely rock the boat with a little
push-and-pull motion (Class II) to big waves that wash over the
sides of the raft in cooling splashes (Class III).
