Day Two - Fly to Cusco
After a one-hour flight, travel to Cusco (elevation 11,200
ft. above sea level) to begin your journey to the Sacred Valley
(elevation 8000 - 9200 ft. above sea level). After a short
flight, a motor coach takes you to the Center for Traditional

traditional Peruvian foods.

of a local museum, explore this quaint town's narrow cobblestone
streets and the amazing Inca ruins on the hill above. The hike

From Moray, travel to Maras for a colorful performance by a
local dance troop, followed by a picnic lunch with spectacular

Machu Picchu (elevation 8000 ft. above sea level), anticipate
the extraordinary sight of these magnificent structures
surrounded by green peaks glazed by a soft mist. You may even
see llamas peacefully grazing among the terraces. After a tour

explain the history and answer your questions. After the tour
you may choose to join an Adventure Guide for a steep downhill
walk back to town.
